I am a social scientist and I'm working as a subject specialist for economics, management, and business informatics at the TIB/UB Hannover.

I'm also writing a doctoral thesis (my advisor is Michael Seadle) on "Praktiken des Bloggens in der Wissenschafts- und Fachkommunikation und die Rolle der Bibliotheken" ("Practices of blogging in science communication and the role of libraries").

I'm an author and instructor on the topic of web 2.0 in libraries and science, contracted by several german library unions, professional associations and centers for continuing education.
